Our mission is to further the kingdom of God by awakening hearts to the love of Jesus Christ through local, national and global missions and outreach and providing for the spiritual & physical needs of the hungry, the lost and the broken.
Awaken Faith Foundation has a long term goal of constructing and operating The Alma Dream Center. We have already secured the land and we are looking for partners for the construction. Please consider partnering with us to reach this goal.
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Your gift will help us to continue to help men, women and children throughout the River Valley area.
AWAKEN FAITH FOUNDATION
Find a need and fill it.
Find a hurt and heal it.
Why We Exist: Our Mission
Awaken Faith's purpose is to provide community support by providing human services that address immediate and long-term needs in the areas of homelessness, hunger, poverty, addiction, education, and human trafficking. Our motto is: 'Find a Need and Fill It. Find a hurt and heal it."
What we do: Faith in Action
We do this by helping those in need of emergency support due to unfortunate circumstances such as death in the family, loss of home, loss of job, and disaster. If you need emergency help, please visit NEED HELP? page and send us your information.
We do this with the Little Big Pantry which provides food for the hungry with no stigma, no strings. "Take what you need, Leave what you can." It's a 24 hour pantry open to all, no questions asked. The pantry is refilled daily with canned goods and toiletries for those in need. The Little Big Pantry fills in the gap for families, homeless, and hungry where food banks leave off due to opening hours and application processes.
We do this by helping veterans like, Cpl. Aaron Mankin providing for his basic need for a reliable vehicle. It was a great honor to help Cpl. Mankin with a small thing that he will use in a big way to help and inspire other veterans with his story. Cpl. Mankin is an inspirational and motivational speaker to vets across America. The need for inspiration among vets is greater than you know. The suicide rate was up to one per day at one time.
We do this by providing a day of free fun for hard working families at "Family Faith Fest". Spirit 106 joined us last year as we gave away food and fun in a meaningful way. People were healed, hearts were touched, and we collected enough canned goods to start the Little Big Pantry.
